Emerson is a second year MSW student at the University of Washington. She is in the Administration and Policy Practice specialization at UW, and is looking forward to engaging in more policy work through P4C. Her practicum placement is with the Kinship Navigator project at P4C.
Emerson’s previous practicum placement was with the Washington Anti-Trafficking Response Network (WARN) at the International Rescue Committee. She engaged in trauma-informed management, participated in national anti-trafficking webinars and advocacy days, and referred survivors to other resources within the community.
Emerson holds a B.A. in Psychology and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She has a background in research. Emerson is also bilingual in English and Spanish.
